Wisma Mendaki

This is just a short outing during the May-June holidays. It's a day where my friend, Ati, had a pre-farewell gathering party before their departure for MYSORE at India for a community work. The gathering is organized by Wisma Mendaki I believe. The ones that attended were me, my dearest Iskandar, Yon and Farihin. The rest were her fellow friend's friends and families. We were there from 7 in the evening till 10 at night. After a powerpoint presentation and a feast, we make our way home.

My Dear, Me and His 2 Siblings

Us with Ian Zackry

Alamak.. I kinda forgot the date. But I know it's the 2nd day of Chinese New Year of 2004. That's when my dearest Iskandar's family had a picnic overnight at East Coast Park. And I'm invited by I'm not sure whom? My dear himself or the Mum? Whatever it is and whoever it is, I don't really mind.

The day before, me and my dear Iskandar arrived quite late in the evening. By then, his family had started the barbeque and so when we arrived, we only had the cooking to do. So, if I can remember, we barbequed otak2, marinated chicken (I think) and sausages, the typical barbeque foods. Then there's still some mee his mum cooked. For drinks wise, occasionally, we had to cycle down all the way to 7-11 to buy more drinks. That's when I met my old time so-called 'sisters'. Haha. I met Lidya aka Memel, with her family and her husband.

So, we sat down for a while to have a little mini-chat and asks about each other's khabar. She was definitely surprised at the freedom that I've gotten already bcos she in the other hand, had lose some but it all depends on her whether she's going to be obedient or not. Anyway, after a while, we went our own way, I went back to my place and her to her's.

Upon reaching, we went by the seaside and sat down together and lying around there, definitely on top of a rattan mat. During that time, my love for my dearest Iskandar grew. He took great care of me during the whole night while the rest are sleeping. Cover y eyes with his jungle hat, away from blinding lights, constantly shooing me to sleep. Haiz... I'm so touched.... AGAIN!!!!

Then the next morning, when everyone was awake, there's a time when me and my dearest Iskandar slept again in the tent. Open on both sides with loads of wind coming in. And that is after playing with his younger brother and sister early in the morning. And they are indeed an active bunch of youngsters with lots of energy yet to be burned. Unlike their eldest brother. Hahaha. Sorry, No Hard Feelings Sayang....

Touched To The Bottom Of My Heart....

Just 2 Days After The Accident (I'm So Really Touched.....)

Still weak. Still in pain. Not able to walk properly. Not able to walk fast. Not convenient to get from place to place. Still needs the rest to heal the wound and recover fast and well. That's what a person should do to get well soon but no, my dearest Iskandar actually touched my heart by attending my IVP competition all the way at Nanyang Polytechnic. He also actually woke up in time and meet me at Jurong East MRT Station to go to the school together.

And so I helped him to walk all the way until we reached NYP (I'm like his walking stick).
I guess that's the only time that I can mock him and make fun of him as his right leg is injured and his right elbow. Otherwise, he would be the one mocking and disturbing me. At least then, all he could do was to disturb me verbally in which, I find it not so irritating (haha).

While the competition is going on, he gave a lot of moral support. More than anyone does, who's supposed to give me tons of support. And I should have someone taking picture of me but didn't even want to try another angle from the audience seats so that a snapshot of me and my group doing our pattern can be taken. That was the most saddest thing that happened actually and I was really so angry and pissed off . And as usual, my dearest Iskandar cooled me down, just like the old times back in secondary school days.

With that condition and situation (as you can see from the picture above), he can still accompany me down to the mini-shop to buy water and eventually down to the canteen area, which is quite a long walk down. But after that, I've to accompany him.... to the gate outside NYP, which is FURTHER!! Just to.... 'TAKE A FRESH AIR'!! Of course, I accompanied him.

What happened the rest of the day, I don't really remember. All I remember was I met Yon for a while at Admiralty and them meet my dearest Iskandar again, because he went home first to meet his parents for a while.
